Key to the running of The Crab, and the result of numerous awards and accolades, our Fish and Seafood Restaurant has an enviable reputation both locally and nationally.

All of our food is sourced from trusted and passionate individuals who care about the quality and standard of their produce. Our fish is bought directly from the markets in Newlyn, Brixham and Looe and is delivered fresh six days a week, ensuring the fish on your plate is as fresh as we can get it, despite being a long way from the seaside! We try our best to ensure that all of the vegetables we use on the menu are sourced from the best producers possible.

The brigade at The Crab has an outstanding pedigree, with many of the key staff having experience working with Michelin-starred chefs such as Richard Corrigan, Marco Pierre White and Gordon Ramsay. They have brought their skills and excellence with them and instilled them into the rest of the team at The Crab, meaning during your time with us you will enjoy mouth-watering food, served in an exceptional manner.
