The Crab at Chieveley is also delighted to host Civil Partnerships in an environment that is warm and professional. From a small, informal gathering mid week to a full-scale weekend celebration, The Crab can cater for all your needs.

‘The Orangery’, is a light and airy conservatory-style room, which lends itself to Civil Ceremonies. Licensed for up to 45 guests, The Orangery suits the more intimate occasion, and offers you the flexibility of having a smaller ceremony in the day and then a bigger marquee evening reception for more of your friends and family.

At the Crab we realise and understand the importance of your special day, so we have teamed up with award nominated wedding planners, Essentially You, to assist in looking after you and your special day. Julie and her team will be there to help guide you through every aspect of the planning leading up to the wedding and the day itself.
